This Week on the Island 01/14/2018

 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather:

This week I read the book ‘The Wild Road to Key West’ by Michael Reisig.

This week we had the Seafood Festival at Bayview park.

We also had the Half Shell Half Marathon.

The bridge from Mallory Square to the Matgaritaville Hotel has been rebuilt. It was destroyed by Hurricane Irma.

I spent some time at Schooner Wharf Bar listening to Michael McCloud.
